Lynne  is responsible for the overall operation of the Foster Care Program at Centerstone in Indiana. Lynne has over 30 years of experience working with children and families in a multitude of settings, including acute psychiatric treatment, residential treatment for mentally ill and developmentally disabled children, home based services, and foster care. She serves on several statewide committees, which seek to improve the services available to the youth in our care, as well as committees to develop more extensive training for  foster parents. She is involved in the training and licensing of all potential foster families.  Lynne graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN with a bachelor and a master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She has been certified to facilitate both high and low ropes courses as part of an Adventure Therapy program and as a useful tool in team building. Lynne has presented at several workshops on a variety of mental health and foster care topics.  Lynne has been with Centerstone since 2000.

Kara Canary – Licensing Assistant

Kara is responsible for assisting with the licensing of all foster homes for Foster Care Select and the entry of all licensing information. She assists with foster family trainings and handles all support functions for the Indiana program. Kara graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in Graphic Design and Advertising in 2010. Kara was previously the Centerstone New Castle office manager before joining the Foster Care Select team in 2016.

Jessica graduated from Indiana University in Indianapolis in May of 2014 with her Masters Degree in Social Work.  Jessica worked for Centerstone from 2008-2010 before leaving to complete her masters degree. She worked in the Human Resources department prior to coming to Foster Care Select in March of 2016. She also spent time as a school based therapist in Indianapolis and did her internship in the foster care licensing department at Children’s Bureau. Jessica supervises the Family Support Specialists in the Southern Region. She also provides supervision and mentoring to social work students from Indiana University who choose to do their internship with Foster Care Select.  Jessica is responsible for providing ongoing training and support to foster families and dealing with clinical issues for our Southern Region foster homes as well.

Linda graduated from Indiana University East in May of 2014 with her Masters Degree in Social Work. Linda has worked for Centerstone since 2009. She worked as a Family Support Specialist in the Children and Family Services program prior to coming to Foster Care Select in November 2014. Linda supervises the Family Support Specialists in the East Region. She also provides supervision and mentoring to social work students from Ball State University and Indiana University East who choose to do their internships in our program. Linda is responsible for providing ongoing training and support to foster families and dealing with clinical issues for our East Region foster homes as well.

Kelly is responsible for the licensing and training of foster homes for Foster Care Select in the East Central region of Indiana. She assists with foster family ongoing trainings and is responsible for recruiting new families to do this important work. A vital part of our team, Kelly’s energy and expertise are invaluable to the work that we do. She is a recent graduate of the Social Work program from Indiana University. Kelly joined the Centerstone family in 2010 and was previously our licensing assistant.

Jennifer HillJennifer Hill – Foster Care Coordinator

Jennifer oversees the licensing and training of new foster homes in our Central and Southwestern Regions in Indiana. Jennifer also assists in the ongoing training for foster parents and is in charge of recruiting new families in her area. She graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Jennifer previously worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters as a Community Based Specialist as well as a School Based Coordinator for 6 years. She has been with Centerstone since  2011 and previously worked as a Family Support Specialist for Foster Care Select.


Mary Deckard – Family Support Specialist

Mary  graduated from the University of St. Louis Missouri in May 2011, with her bachelor’s in sociology. After college she worked as a case manager at BJC Behavioral Health in St. Louis with adults who have mental illness along with drug addictions. Mary is responsible for working with families in Morgan, Monroe, Marion, Jackson, and Lawrence Counties.  In Mary’s free time she works with Big Brothers Big Sisters of American as a Big Sister. Mary joined our Centerstone family in February of 2015 after working 8 years for the Department of Child Services in Morgan and Monroe Counties.

Becky provides case management services to children and support to the foster parents in Henry, Wayne, Fayette and Randolph Counties in Indiana. She has been with Centerstone for 17 years and transferred to Foster Care Select in 2007. She attended I.U. East and IUPUI and graduated in 1995 with her Bachelor’s of Social Work.

Rachel has worked with at-risk children since 2006, most recently with the Indiana Department of Child Services as an FCM. Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Ball State University in 2011. She is responsible for working with families in Vigo, Morgan, Monroe, Johnson, Marion counties. Rachel joined our Centerstone family in October of 2014.

Karen provides case management and life skills training to children and supports foster homes in Wayne and surrounding county area. She resides in the Western Wayne area and has raised two teen boys. Being both an aunt and mother have given her the background knowledge to help children facing a variety of difficult situations. Karen first joined Centerstone as a social work intern while working towards her Bachelor’s at Indiana University East. She became part of the team full time in June 2014.

Sa’de Reece –  Family Support Specialist

Sa’de provides case management and life skills training to children and supports foster homes in the East Region. Sa’de feels being an aunt has given her insight, tools, and life experiences to help children with transitions, difficulties, and to be able to cope with life’s circumstances. Sa’de came to Foster Care Select as a social work intern from Indiana University East. When she completed her Bachelor Degree she came aboard as a full-time staff member in June of 2014.

Jessica is originally from Indiana. Jessica earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Hanover College, Indiana in 2004, with a focus in Sociology. She graduated from the Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics, Inc. in Alexandria, Indiana in 2009. Jessica enjoys working as a licensed massage therapist in her free time. She also enjoys training and hiking with her Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue dog, Ernie. Jessica has over five years experience working with children and adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities in over four states. Jessica has over six years experience working in various not-for-profit organizations including Habitat For Humanity of Washington D.C. Jessica relocated to Indiana last year and is happy to have the opportunity to live closer to her family and work hard to make a positive difference in the lives of foster children and foster parents with Foster Care Select!

Kendra is a very family-oriented person who values being an aunt and spending time with her family. She provides case management and life skills training to children in foster homes in Delaware, Decatur, Rush, and Wayne Counties. She recently graduated from Indiana University East with a BSW. She came to Foster Care Select as an intern and came aboard as a full-time staff member after her graduation. Kendra works hard to make a positive impact on the lives of the children and foster parents she has on her caseload.
